Dr. Mark Sherstinsky earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and later earned his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. After completing his Residency in Urban Family Practice at the SUNY State College of Optometry, he served in multiple roles there, including Residency Director (East New York Ocular Disease and Family Practice); Instructor of Record (Epidemiology); and Program Coordinator and Developer (Center of International Programs & Confucius Institute). Mark later completed his Master in Global Public Health at NYU, with a focus in Health Policy and Management. At SCCO, Mark has previously lectured in the Public Health course and currently supervises 4th-year students at the University Eye Center at Los Angeles.
